Rocco Homes (No. 25) Limited has appealed against the failure of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, acting as Local Planning Authority, to determine an application within the appropriate period for Demolition of existing building and erection of a new part 9, part 5 storey building plus basement to provide residential units (Class C3) and flexible ground floor mixed-use commercial, business and service space (Class E) ancillary plant, servicing and blue badge parking, landscaping and associated works (for information purposes this includes 49 dwellings and 592 sqm of flexible commercial, business and service space floorspace (GIA). at 53-59 High Street New Maiden KT3 4BU.
The appeal will be decided on the basis of the inquiry which has been fixed for the Richard Mayo Centre, Eden Street, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1HZ opening on 14th December 2021 at 10.00am.
The inquiry will be attended by both the Appellants and the Authority's planning officers when the planning issues concerned are discussed with an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on an informal basis.
