Madonna and Guy Ritchie issued a joint statement insisting that they are both happy with their divorce agreement.
The pair also said that a "misleading and inaccurate" statement, specifically relating to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued this week.
They said: "The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement.
"Our primary concern, like any co-parents, is the care and well-being of our children."
Some reports at the time the divorce was announced had claimed that Ritchie was walking away without a penny of Madonna's fortune, estimated at £300 million, and figures in later reports have varied widely.
Madonna and Ritchie have two children - Rocco, eight, and David Banda, three, who was adopted from Malawi in 2006.
The singer has a 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes, from a previous relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon.
The couple's marriage began as a fairytale wedding at the romantic Skibo Castle in the Highlands of Scotland.
But it came to an end with a "quickie divorce" at the Principal Registry of the Family Division in High Holborn, London.
When Mills and Sir Paul divorced, the model received a settlement of £24.3 million after a bitter battle. Sir Paul's fortune was put by the judge at £450 million.
