Ainsworth excited by future
QPR favourite Gareth Ainsworth says the club can look forward to an exciting future next season.
The R's unveiled a new club crest, before the defeat to champions West Brom on Sunday, and the flying winger feels it is the start of a new era at Loftus Road.
Club captain Ainsworth said: "The club is moving forward at an incredible pace, and this new badge is a sign of a new era, and hopefully an era which is going to be hugely successful."
Ainsworth watched the Baggies lift the title after the match and he wants Rangers to emulate them next season.
"Hopefully it can be us lifting the trophy next year," he said. "There are going to be big changes here next season and the calibre of player coming in has to be something special.
"The crowd have bought into it. There have been dark days but now there is light at the end of the tunnel."
