Stones end Hendon's hopes
Wealdstone ended the season with a bang by killing Hendon's play-off hopes after a 2-1 win on Saturday.
The Stones were fired up after avoiding the drop last week and earned a superb result in front of about 200 away fans.
Wealdstone went in level at half-time all square after a superb save by goalkeeper Keita Karamoko. And they stunned the hosts by getting a penalty when Jack Page wrestled Peter Dean to the floor. Dean Papali made no mistake from the spot after 52 minutes.
Youth player Nick Salapatas arrived as a substitute and he made an immediate impact by doubling the lead with seven minutes left.
Belal Aiteouakrim grabbed a late consolation but the win amazingly lifted the Stones to a final position of 13th in the Ryman Premier.
