JONATHAN Douglas has been told he will not automatically walk back into the Brentford side when they host rivals Fulham this evening.

The midfielder, who has been one of the Bees’ best performers this season, was suspended for the 3-2 victory at Millwall before the international break - and boss Mark Warburton admits Toumani Diagouraga impressed in his absence.

Brentford head into the West London derby on the back of three consecutive victories, which have seen them climb into the play-off places in their first season back in the Championship.

Warburton has a near fully-fit squad, aside from long-term absentees Alan McCormack (ankle) and Scott Hogan (cruciate) and could stick with the same starting XI from a fortnight ago.

Striker Andre Gray has scored four goals in his last three games and is set lead the line once again, supported by Spurs loanee Alex Pritchard in midfield.

Meanwhile, Fulham are also in good form and have yet to lose in the league since the appointment of Kit Symons as permanent boss in October.

The Cottagers, in 17th place, have been boosted by the news that keeper Marcus Bettinelli has been passed fit for the trip to Griffin Park.

This will be the first league encounter between the sides in 16 years, but Ross McCormack scored the only goal as Fulham beat Brentford in the League Cup earlier this season.

Brentford defender Tony Craig has signed a new contract at Griffin Park through to the summer of 2017.

The 29-year-old has made over 100 appearances since his move from Millwall two years ago and his previous deal was due to expire in the summer.

The Academy at Brentford is offering training opportunities for goalkeepers and centre- forwards.

The training day will take place on Saturday November 29 at 2pm and all players must be in the school years seven to ten.
