ACTON girl and Portland Place School pupil Sabrina Ragazzo is celebrating being selected for the U16 Girls Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) national team squad.
Sabrina, 14, who lives in East Acton Lane, will join the 22-player squad this December at St George’s Park, along with her school friend, Freya Glen, after shining at a national development camp this summer.
The ISFA is affiliated to the FA and is responsible for developing and nurturing talent within the independent schools sector.
Sabrina, who plays left-back for Brentford U15s, has dreams of playing professionally, and her head teacher, Tim Cook, led the plaudits for the Year 10 pupil.
He added: “Everyone at Portland Place School is remarkably proud of Sabrina’s selection.
“We fully support this talented athlete in her quest to succeed in the sports industry. It is an honour to work with Sabrina, who is a joy to watch.”
