BRENTFORD boss Mark Warburton is set to name an unchanged XI for tonight’s game at Watford, following Saturday’s impressive 2-0 victory over Leeds United.

The Bees, in 13th place, bounced back from successive heavy defeats to Middlesbrough and Norwich City, with goals from Jota and Alan McCormack sealing a first win in three games.

Ahead of the trip to Vicarage Road, the West Londoners will give late fitness checks to Tommy Smith and Nico Yennaris, with the pair likely to start on the bench if passed fit.

Smith started his career at Watford but has been suffering with a knee injury, while Yennaris is close to a return following a thigh problem.

Goalkeeper Richard Lee remains sidelined by a shoulder injury, while winger Sam Saunders will not be risked, despite making good progress from knee trouble.

Striker Scott Hogan remains a long-term absentee with a cruciate injury.

Billy McKinlay will take charge of Watford for the first time after the Scot replaced Oscar Garcia as head coach on Monday.

Garcia was forced to step down following recent health scares, but McKinlay inherits a side that sit fourth in the Championship, having lost only one of their five home games in all competitions this season.

Midfielder Almen Abdi is fit again after missing Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Blackburn with a dead leg.

However, Gabriele Angella, Gabriel Tamas, Troy Deeney and Keith Andrews are all unavailable.

Tonight’s match is the first time the two sides have met since January 1998, back in the old Division Two, with the Hornets running out 2-1 winners at Griffin Park.

Watford are also unbeaten in the last 14 meetings in all competitions between the pair, with Brentford’s last win coming back in 1977, in the old Division Four.

Jonathan Douglas is set to make his 150th appearance for the club if selected at Watford. The Irish midfielder joined from Swindon Town in 2011 and was named Supporters' Player of the Year for 2011/12.

Brentford have reduced prices for young supporters to watch the Bees at home to Reading this Saturday, October 4.

There are still a limited number of Kids for a Quid tickets available. Visit the club’s website for more details: http://www.brentfordfc.co.uk
