QPR exited the FA Cup at the first round stage for the third consecutive season after an 80th minute goal from Michael Boulding gave Grimsby Town a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, Matt Harrold grabbed a hat-trick as Brentford cruised through the first round with a 7-1 win over non-league Gainsborough Trinity.
