Brentford manager Andy Scott praised his side after they romped to a 3-0 win at Port Vale in League Two on Saturday.

The Bees moved up to fifth in the table after goals from Marcus Bean, Charlie MacDonald and Karleigh Osborne handed them the points.

Scott felt they managed to overcome a poor start and was pleased with how they recovered.

He said: "I wasn't very happy with our performance for the first 20 minutes of the first half and first 15 minutes of the second half but we turned it around.

"We have had two tough away games, to get a good result at Havant and a win here is pleasing."
