Harlequins co-captains Chris Robshaw and James Horwill are set to star in Saturday’s Premiership Rugby Cup clash with Saracens.

The former England captain and 62-times capped Australian international both get starting berths as Quins are forced to shuffle the pack ahead of next week's Guinness Six Nations.

Adam Jones and Nick Evans will act as head coaches for the clash against the Premiership high flyers, as Quins aim to secure local bragging rights and earn a fifth successive victory in all competitions.

Ahead of the showdown, acting head coaches Jones and Evans praised the resilience of their star men Robshaw and Horwill as they make their return from injury.

“Both James and Chris have shown incredible perseverance and determination to get themselves back in consideration for selection and we know everyone will be getting behind them as they resume their duties for us this weekend,” said Jones.

Evans added: “We know it will be a special occasion at a packed Stoop and our matches with Saracens rarely disappoint.

“We have been pleased with the momentum we have generated of late and now we are looking forward to putting another performance we are capable of and one our supporters can be proud of.

“We are in a great position to rotate our squad and give some well-deserved opportunities to some players who we are looking forward to watching perform.”

Quins make a total of seven changes for the visit of London rivals Saracens, with Mark Lambert, Elia Elia and Josh Ibuanokpe making up the front row.

Horwill and Dino Lamb start at lock, while Luke Wallace features in a back row also comprising Robshaw and Renaldo Bothma.

Ben Tapuai and Gabriel Ibitoye are unchanged and are joined by half-backs Charlie Mulchrone and James Lang.

Aaron Morris starts at outside centre, with Charlie Walker on the right wing and Ross Chisholm at full-back.

Quins were narrow losers when the two sides met in the league earlier this season as Saracens sealed a late 25-20 victory despite a try from Robshaw.
