Brentford boss Thomas Frank wants his team to secure their first away win of the season on Saturday as the Bees prepare to face Rotherham United.

Brentford are on a good run of form and are unbeaten in their last six fixtures following Saturday’s victory over Stoke City.

But Frank has challenged his players to become only the third side to beat the South Yorkshire outfit on their own patch.

He said: “We want to go on a longer run. Six wins is nice but we are nowhere near where we want to be. To take it to the next step, we need an away win.

“Every time we get closer, every time we don’t win.

“I think we have a good chance. Not because we are playing Rotherham but because we have performed in our last six games.

“We are going there with big confidence and we will do everything we can to win.”

Frank also heaped praise on the form of the Brentford defence and suggested the club are now doing more going forward.

“The pleasing thing was the offensive part of the game because the last six games, especially the first five were very good defensively.

“Last week we were bang on defensively against Stoke but we want to control more of the game and create more chances.”
