Gabriel Ibitoye has called on Harlequins to put down a marker and seal qualification through to the European Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

The England U20 winger played a starring role in guiding Quins to a bonus-point victory over Newcastle Falcons last time out in the Gallagher Premiership.

But Ibitoye still believes Paul Gustard’s men have got areas to work on if they are to make ground on securing a fourth Challenge Cup title.

He said: "The group is really tight, any four of the teams can go through so we have to get something out of this game and try and achieve the four or five points we need to move forward.

“The fans play a massive part, it’s always good having the supporters going with you everything you do something well. They are cheering for you and they really push you forward which is always an advantage over the opposition.

“Newcastle was a good day for us, a good performance, five points which is what we tried to achieve.

“It was not the complete performance as we always strive to improve every week. The boys were happy, and we are going to look to improve on our weaknesses from that game and improve on them in the next week.”

Gustard has made six changes from the trip to Kingston Park, with Renaldo Bothma returning at blindside flanker alongside joint top try-scorer Alex Dombrandt at No.8.

Fiji international Semi Kunatani is at openside while Lewis Boyce and Will Collier are both in the front-row with Joe Marler on rotation and Kyle Sinckler unavailable with injury.

Ben Tapuai lines up alongside Alofa Alofa with Francis Saili and Joe Marchant rested as youngster Cadan Murley starts in place of Nathan Earle.

Danny Care captains the side, with Marcus Smith at Fly-half and Mike Brown making his 309th appearance for the Club at full-back.

Speaking ahead of the showdown, Gustard has backed his side to build on their victory at Newcastle against the Top 14 outfit.

“Our destiny is in our own hands,” he said. “It is a tournament we have done well in historically and it is one we want to win again this season.

“It was great to put in a performance and get a victory that was thoroughly deserved at Newcastle. I have been very happy with the progression our attack has been making in recent weeks having scored 13 tries in the last four fixtures and it is also great to see our special set-piece plays being so effective.

“It’s a new year and tomorrow represents a new chapter in the Club’s rich history to be written.”

Following on from Mike Brown’s record breaking 308th appearance for the club, the first 308 fans through the gate on Saturday will receive a free drink to mark the momentous achievement.
