Thomas Frank has admitted that he is worried after Brentford’s 2-0 defeat to Hull but believes that just one win can massively help the team.

The problem for Frank is that his side only has one win in their last 10 games and continues to slide ever closer to the bottom of the league table.

The London club has picked up just four points from a possible 30 since Dean Smith’s departure, leaving them three points from the drop zone.

After the latest defeat, Frank reassured fans that he and his staff are working hard insisting that one win could wonders for his team.

"We are worried - if you only win one in 10, that's clear,” Frank said.

"We need to look at ourselves, but you can see the effort they put in. We need to minimise the defensive mistakes and errors.

"You can't ensure anything in the world, but I am 100% sure that me, the players and the coaching staff will do everything we can to turn it around. One win will do massively.

"We definitely made mistakes but the small margins didn't drop to our side.

"We created opportunities but we didn't play quick enough, and with the sharpness of that quality when we are on a high.”

Frazier Campbell’s first-half double was enough to ensure that there was no way back into the game for the Bees.

Substitute Moses Odubajo drilled inches wide after the break but Said Benrahma wasted the visitors' best opportunity, firing over from 12 yards.

Brentford have one home game against Bolton Wanderers and away trips to Bristol City and Birmingham City in order to find the win that they massively need.
