Judd Trump sealed safe passage to the final of the Northern Ireland Open by overpowering Eden Sharav in the final four.
World number five Trump emerged 6-3 victor as the pair went head-to-head for a place in the showpiece finale on Sunday.
The winner will take on Ronnie O’Sullivan, who edged an 11-frame thriller 6-5 over Mark Selby in the other semi-final at the Waterfront Hall.
And Trump admitted that he has felt the warmth of the Belfast faithful throughout the week – calling on them for one more big show of faith.
“Obviously Ronnie’s been the big favourite this week, but I felt some good support – I feel they really get behind you when they like you.
“Hopefully they can get behind me again [in the final] and I can win.”
