ALAN JUDGE, Lewis Macleod and Nick Proshcwitz are injury doubts ahead of Brentford’s match at Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

The Bees will be out for revenge at the Amex after being dumped out of the FA Cup by Chris Hughton's side a fortnight ago.

Irish winger Judge continues to battle a knee injury, sustained in the Cup exit to the Seagulls, while Proshcwitz will be assessed on an ankle problem.

Macleod – a £1m arrival from Glasgow Rangers – may have to wait for his debut as he nurses a hamstring injury.

Stuart Dallas’ second half strike ended a three-game losing streak for the Bees last week with victory over Rotherham.

Mark Warburton's side remain in fifth place, just five points off the automatic promotion places.

Brighton, in 19th place, will look to build on Hughton’s two-match unbeaten start to his tenure at the club, including last week’s 1-0 win at Charlton.

The Bees won the earlier league meeting 3-2 at Griffin Park in September, but the Seagulls tasted victory just two weeks ago in the Cup.

Brentford midfielder Sam Saunders has signed a deal at the club until 2016.

The 31-year-old joined the Bees on a free transfer from Dagenham & Redbridge in 2009 and has gone on to make 171 appearances, scoring 27 times. His previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season.

The Bees have failed with a £1.2m offer for Sporting de Gijon defender Bernardo Espinosa.

Boss Mark Warburton signed Marcos Tebar and Jota from Spain in the summer and had hoped to make 25-year-old Espinosa his latest European recruit.

Meanwhile, Brentford have reportedly had a £500,000 offer for Southend goalkeeper Daniel Bentley rejected.

The Shrimpers stress Bentley is not for sale, but the Bees are in the market for a new keeper, with Richard Lee set to retire at the end of the season.

Academy forward Montell Moore is set for a loan move to Danish Superliga side FC Midtylland, who are owned by Bees owner Matthew Benham.
