BRENTFORD entertain fellow Championship new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers tomorrow at Griffin Park hoping to continue their impressive league run.

The Bees have won four games in a row – the longest current winning streak in the division – to climb up to fifth in the table, just one point off second and four behind leaders Derby County.

Brentford looked set for defeat against West London rivals Fulham last Friday until a couple of late goals helped them to a 2-1 victory to maintain their excellent run of form.

Mark Warburton has a near fully-fit squad, aside from long-term absentees Alan McCormack (ankle) and Scott Hogan (cruciate) and could stick with the same starting XI from last week.

Wolves have struggled in recent weeks and three consecutive defeats have seen them drop to 11th in the table.

Kenny Jackett is likely to be without centre-half Ethan Ebanks-Landell, which has led to the early recall of Kortney Hause from his loan at Gillingham.

The Bees have failed to score in four of the last five games against the Black Country side and were beaten 3-0 in their meeting back in February.

Brentford insist their preferred option is to stay at Griffin Park, rather than ground share, if they are promoted to the Premier League.

The club’s new stadium at Lionel Road is not expected to be ready until the 2017-18 at the earliest and Griffin Park currently falls short of top-flight requirements.

A possible ground share has been suggested if the Bees can maintain their impressive league run and reach the top division. Reading’s Madjeski Stadium and Harlequins’ Twickenham Stoop are mooted as potential temporary homes.

The Bees are tracking Watford defender Tommie Hoban as they continue their quest to improve their squad.

The 20-year-old, who came through the ranks at Vicarage Road, has played 11 times this season and has previously been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
