NICO YENNARIS is a doubt ahead of Brentford’s trip to Middlesbrough tomorrow, as the Bees look to bounce back from Tuesday’s 3-0 home defeat to Norwich City.

The 21 year-old defender, who came through the ranks at Arsenal, suffered a thigh injury in a development squad game against Colchester United and is unlikely to travel to the Riverside Stadium.

Midfielder Sam Saunders is still not ready to return, despite making progress following a knee injury, while goalkeeper Richard Lee misses out again with a shoulder problem.

Manager Mark Warburton continues to be without Scott Hogan, a long-term absentee with a knee injury, but there are no other injury concerns ahead of the journey to Teesside.

Brentford suffered just their second defeat of the season against Norwich in midweek, with Warburton furious a penalty appeal was turned down with the Bees only 1-0 down.

Despite the loss, the West Londoners remain in the top half of the table in 11th, just two points adrift of the play-off places.

Middlesbrough made it back-to-back wins with an impressive 1-0 victory at Cardiff, leaving them ninth.

Tomorrow’s clash is the first meeting between these two sides since 2002, when Middlesbrough dumped Brentford out of the League Cup with a comprehensive 4-1 win.

However, the overall record remains all square, with seven wins each and three draws from 17 meetings.

Brentford have reduced prices for young supporters to watch the Bees at home to Reading on Saturday, October 4.

There are a limited number of Kids for a Quid tickets available. Visit the club’s website for more details: http://www.brentfordfc.co.uk
