THIEVES swiped scrap aluminium worth £1,000 from a double glazing company in North Acton.
They took the metal, mostly old window frames, between 6.30pm on Friday, August 17 and 10.30am on Saturday, August 18.
The scrap had been locked in an alleyway outside the company's premises on Gorst Road. Police believe thieves would have needed some sort of truck to transport it all.
