RESIDENTS have until Friday to register their views on a proposed 20mph zone in Ealing.

Traffic calming could be installed in Allenby Road, which runs between Greenford and Southall, and is a notorious rat-run for drivers seeking to avoid jams in Greenford Road.

Ealing Council is asking residents if they think motorists should be slowed down by speed humps in the area.

Restricted parking and more double yellow lines may also be brought in.

The consultation period lasts until Friday, September 21, and forms are available from the council's website, www.ealing.gov.uk
