A MAN from Ealing has been charged under the Terrorism Act after a police intelligence operation into alleged international terror offences.
Yassin Felin Nassari, 27, is accused of possessing a document likely to be useful to a terrorist.
He was arrested at his home in Ealing at 6am on Friday, May 26 by officers from the Metropolitan Police's anti-terrorism branch.
He appeared at Bow Street Magistrates' court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody until June 6.
He is currently being held at Brixton Prison.
Officers also asked Dutch police to search a Eindhoven address.
A 23-year-old woman was also arrested at the same time as Mr Nassari, but released on Tuesday, May 30, without any further action.
Police say the arrests are seperate from the events in London on July 7, and there is no suggestion of a direct threat to the UK.
