MEMBERS of the London Assembly's Transport committee will be touring the proposed West London Tram route.
The tour started in Uxbridge this morning and will follow the proposed route through Southall, Hanwell, West Ealing, Ealing, Acton and will finish at Shepherds Bush.
Local groups were given the opportunity to give their views on the £648 million scheme during a Transport Committee scrutiny meeting at City Hall on Monday night.
A further public meeting will be held with the same groups as well as Transport for London (TfL) and transport experts on September 16 before the Committee's final findings will be submitted to TfL on October 8.
