REMEMBER GOS from Big Brother? The slightly rotund guy who earnt his place in our hearts by feeding his fellow housemates?
Gos, pictured far right, has changed career path from chef to radio DJ, and until February 14 he is presenting Drive Time from 4pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday, on Urban Sound 87.7 fm.
This station has a restricted service licence (RSL) to broadcast to Southhall (of which Gos is a loyal resident) and surrounding areas.
Gos' show will play hit tunes, feature gossip and chat with special guests and share some of his favourite recipes. Listeners can call, email or text Gos to take part.
Urban Sound emphasises that it is not broadcast for any distinct ethnic group and focuses on dissolving culture barriers and "addressing much needed social and local issues", like drugs, alcohol, racism and even traffic pollution.
In the evenings Urban Sound's project will work along side British Born Asian Radio, a west London team that pioneered the Urban Asian music scene, in order to focus on the issues of younger people in the community.
