A MOTORCYCLIST was killed after losing control of his bike following a minor collision.
Daniel Mooney, 36, who lived in Marylebone, was killed after he was in collision with a car and investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Mr Mooney was travelling on his motorbike on the A40, on the eastbound carriageway opposite Park Royal tube station at about 5.30pm on Saturday, October 25.
Police say he was filtering between traffic when he was involved in a minor collision with a Volkswagen Golf car.
He then lost control, fell off his motorcycle and collided with the central reservation.
He was taken to Central Middlesex Hospital suffering from serious head and internal injuries but died later that evening.
Traffic investigators at Alperton Traffic Unit are appealing to any motorists who were driving along the A40 at the time of the accident to come forward.
