UNEMPLOYED homeless people are being given the opportunity to get a job.
Run by Ealing Council, the initiative will offer training, employment information and guidance.
Housing staff will work with people they come across to help them get into employment.
The scheme is being run in partnership with six other west London boroughs.
The west London Housing Employment Link Project (HELP) has been training its frontline staff to help their clients.
Councillor Will Brooks, cabinet member for housing at Ealing Council, said: "This is an important scheme and one that we are proud to be hosting.
"It's hard enough for people in these situations having to deal with the worry of where they will live, let alone the though of seeking work to better support themselves."
For more information about HELP and the service it will be providing, contact Billy Seago on 0208 825 5142 or email seagob@ealing.gov.uk
