Readers back council housing decision

THE majority of Ealing Times online readers agree with a decision to take some power away from a hosing organisation.

On Tuesday councillors agreed to remove certain powers from Ealing Homes, which was set up to administer the council's housing stock in 2005.

More than 60 per cent of people who voted agreed with the council decision, while only 11 per cent of voters said the situation should have been left as it was.

Nearly thirty per cent said they did not know whether it was the right move.

Thois week's webpoll asks " Is the Post Office right to shut seven branches in Ealing?".
