Cyclist killed in hit and run

A cyclist has died after being involved in a hit-and-run last Friday.

A 41-year-old man was knocked off his bike by a dark coloured hatchback car, just after 11.30pm on Friday, December 7, at the junction with Dormers Wells Lane and Uxbridge Road in Southall.

The cyclist was taken to hospital after being treated at the scene, but died yesterday.

The car is believed to have been travelling west, towards Southall Broadway, when the collision occurred.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
