Police are investigating an incident in West Ealing in which a man died and a woman suffered gunshot wounds.
Police were called at 2.50pm yesterday to reports of shots fired at a residential address in Felix Road, W13.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
A 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers believe they know the man's identity but await formal identification. Police are yet to contact all of the man's immediate family.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
A 28-year-old woman was taken to a west London hospital suffering from gunshot injuries. She remains at hospital in a stable condition.
Officers from the Trident Gang Crime Command are investigating. Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
There has been no arrest. Enquiries are ongoing.
