EALING’S parks are to be filled with music, drama and laughter again this summer through an array of festivals.
The programme consists of 16 days of entertainment, beginning with Greenford Carnival.
Audiences will be treated to top-name acts for five nights at the Ealing Comedy Festival, and Walpole Park will host the famous Ealing Jazz Festival over a five-day spell.
There will also be a number of specialist one-day events, including Opera in the Park, Ealing Blues and Ealing Global music festivals.
The popular London Mela will round off the festival season in Gunnersbury Park.
In addition, Walpole Park will this year welcome the stop-over of the Olympic torch in Ealing.
This will take place just three days before the start of the Games.
