Murder inquiry launched after Perivale death

A MURDER investigation has been launched after police discovered the body of a woman at a house in Perivale yesterday afternoon.
Officers were called to the Buckingham Avenue home by concerned neighbours just after 2pm, where they found the dead woman.
She was found to have suffered injuries to her head, although a formal post mortem is due to take place at Uxbridge Mortuary this afternoon.
Next of kin have been informed but there has been no formal identification of the woman.
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder after being called to an address in Brunswick Road just after 5pm. He was suffering minor injuries and taken to hospital for treatment.
