A MAN believed to be a Cameroonian diplomat has died following an incident at his home in Greenford this morning.

The man, in his late 60’s was rushed to hospital after police were called to his house, in Middleton Avenue just before 9am.

Forensic experts have been combing the house for clues as to what happened and a man in his late twenties, believed to be the son of the deceased, has been arrested.

Officials from the Cameroonian Embassy have arrived at the scene and are talking to police.

A neighbour of the dead man said: “He has lived here for around 15 years with his sons and worked as a cultural attaché at the Cameroonian Embassy in Holland Park.

“He was a very nice, quiet man and never caused anybody any problems.”

Roads around the area have been sealed off while police carry out investigations and are not expected to reopen until 10pm.

This was a great man as he used to say to my baby .He was quiet and never had a problem with anyone .we would all miss in our home and life would not be the same again without him around.
MAY THE LORD ALL MIGHTY BE WITH HIM.
