AN image of a man police believe tried to rape a 15-year-old girl has been released.
The artist’s impression, put together with the help of the traumatised teen, shows the man she believed attacked her as she walked back to her home through Lime Tree Park, Northolt, just after 10.20pm on Sunday, July 20.
She says the man approached her and threatened her with a knife before attempting to rape her.
He is described as black, 6ft tall with a stocky build, aged between 25 and 35. He spoke with a Jamaican accent and was wearing a gold Nike tick-style earring in his left ear. He also had acne on his face.
She says he was wearing a black hoody, red t-shirt, black trousers with white and red trainers.
The investigation has been handed over to the Sapphire Unit, which deals with serious sexual offences. Anyone with information can contact officers in confidence on 0208 721 7055, or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
