GUNNERSBURY Triangle Sports and Social Club took on a new look at the weekend with the completion of a major facelift.
The work, made possible by grants from Sport England and Suez Communities Trust, and the generosity of a club member, now provides step-free access to all parts of the clubhouse together with a new kitchen, changing and washrooms.
“We already offer tennis, table tennis, yoga, snooker and karate but we want to provide a wider range of classes in future,” said Marina Foxlee, tennis club chairman.

“We welcome anyone running or planning classes in the area – or wishing to hold a social event – to come and see our large hall and our great new facilities.”
Members and neighbours turned out in force at an open day on Sunday. Free tennis coaching, a speed serve competition, a karate exhibition and the chance to try table tennis, yoga, keep fit and snooker were among the highlights.
The club is based at The Ridgeway, Acton.
