THE new head teacher at Villiers High School in Southall is picked out for special praise by Ofsted for helping it to improve significantly.
Inspectors said Aruna Sharma, who took the reins in September, had brought a new energy to the school.
They found it had taken further strides since its last inspection in 2015, where it was judged Good.

Inspectors pointed to strong exams results, pupil behaviour and high staff morale among the many strengths.
They added: “The new energy Ms Sharma has brought to the school is evidenced particularly through feedback from staff and pupils.”
Aruna Sharma said: “This is only possible due to the hard work and commitment of our staff, pupils, parents and governors.”
