It really is worth sifting through your inbox – one mystery Ealing man heard he’d become a Lottery millionaire through an email!
The anonymous winner, known only as Mr. C, didn’t even need to pop to the corner shop to bag a life-changing £1,000,000 jackpot.
Mr. C’s numbers came up on 4th May and already has his eye on a new house with the spoils.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at the National Lottery, said: “Huge congratulations to Mr. C for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket – after a few simple clicks he has become a millionaire!
“With people leading busy lives, playing online is becoming increasingly popular. You can make sure your lucky numbers are always in the draw and your ticket is always checked.”
He won through the National Lottery’s EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw, in which players compete interactively and users can set up Direct Debit payments.
The Millionaire Maker guarantees to make two millionaires in each draw.
National Lottery players raise £30 million for good causes every day and tickets can be bought for all games at national-lottery.co.uk.
