GROUPS from Ealing and Hillingdon were saluted for their efforts in making a difference in the community at the fifth Atul Pathak Community Awards at the House of Commons.
Ealing Street Pastors received an award for protecting vulnerable people and reducing anti-social behaviour around Ealing’s night life.
Halo Children’s Charity in Hillingdon was similarly honoured for supporting children and their families after the loss of a loved one.

Nine awards in total were made by Atul Pathak, managing director of the Appt Corporation, the UK’s leading McDonald’s franchisee.
Each recipient was presented with a certificate and a donation to put towards a project or objective.
