NORTHOLT Leisure Centre hosted its contribution to the World’s Biggest Charity Swim at the weekend, raising money for Cancer Research and Marie Curie.
Since the first Swimathon more than 30 years ago, half a million swimmers have taken part, raising £46m for good causes.

Thirty swimmers joined this year’s event at the centre, operated by Everyone Active in partnership with Ealing Council, completing a variety of distances, individually or as part of a team.
Swimmers from Mencap took part, with their key worker, Abigail, joining in to complete the final lap - having learned to swim only last year.
