DICKENS Yard in the heart of Ealing came alive as hundreds of residents and visitors attended the St George’s development’s first We Love Cheese festival on Sunday.
The festival was held to celebrate the new weekly Ealing Artisan market, in partnership with local food curators Eat Me Drink Me.
The free cheese festival included an array of food stalls, live music and talks from producers and importers.
Highlights included a presentation by the ES Magazine restaurant critic Grace Dent, who joined forces with Abbotshill Wine Bar and Deli and Formaggi and Cheese to offer expert wine and cheese pairings in the Ealing Bites tent.
Visitors were able to sample a selection of melted, hard and soft cheeses, accompanied by artisan bread, crackers and chutneys.
This Sunday, Ealing Artisan (15) will feature a street food line-up including Muffin Man & Co, Indian Street Kitchen and Nha Trang, with Chapter Coffee and Abbotshill on hand to provide refreshments.
The event will be held in Dickens Yard at Ealing Broadway from 11am-3pm.
