Ealing Broadway has brought the sun and sand to West London this summer with a little twist, after the opening of London’s first-ever blue sand pop-up beach last week.

With Hawaii renowned for its dark coloured sand and the Bahamas famous for its pretty pink beaches, Ealing Broadway’s ‘Blue Broadway Beach’ brings Londoners their very own taste of tropical paradise – without having to travel thousands of miles.

Now in its third year, the ‘Blue Broadway Beach’ hosts a range of activities for locals to enjoy until August 31.

Arts and crafts sessions will be taking place every Monday, while treasure hunts and sandcastle competitions will be running every Wednesday.

Nuffield Health will be hosting beach workouts for shoppers looking to get active, while Clas Ohlson will be offering water and bubble fun to help participants cool down.

On Saturday 5,19, and 27 August, Westside Radio will also be hosting free DJ workshop sessions for shoppers to try their hand at mixing. On these selected dates, shoppers will have the chance to showcase their DJ skills alongside the Westside team in Ealing Broadway’s Town Square.

A range of exciting giveaways will also be available for shoppers throughout summer. On Thursdays and Fridays until 31 August, retailers Nuffield Health, Clas Ohlson and Limeyard will be handing out goodies and samples, as well as hosting exciting competitions and entertainment.
