The University of West London is the biggest riser in The Guardian University Guide 2018, jumping 38 places to 58th.

The new ranking, which were released today, also places the university among the top 10 modern universities in the UK and the highest ranking modern university in the capital.

It already has one of the best graduate employment rates in the UK, with 96% of students in employment or further study within 6 months of graduating.

It also has the best National Student Survey scores for student satisfaction in the capital.

The university also prides itself on the diversity of its student body, with the 10th highest proportion of working class students (49.9%) and one of the highest proportions of mature students (50.4%), while 55% of our students are from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
