Nothwod-based Michael Sobell Hospice Charity (MSHC) is appealing for Santa’s little helpers to volunteer and support Christmas in-store collections at Curry’s PC World.

“We are in urgent need of help to cover these collection dates in December, which Currys has very kindly allowed us to hold in-store," explained MSHC Events Manager, Ophelia Chambers-Henry.

"Why not don your Santa hat and bring a friend or family member along for a couple of hours?

"All our volunteers will be well looked after and will be based inside the building where you will be nice and warm.

"Free parking is also available at the front and rear of the store."

This year, MSHC needs to raise over £1.68 million pounds towards local hospice services; providing care and support to families in and around Herts and Bucks.

And volunteers are urgently needed for Friday 16th and Saturday 17th December, from 10.00am-6.00pm, and on Sunday 18th December, from 10.00am-4.00pm.

Ms Chambers-Henry added: “We are also looking for volunteer help for an additional collection on Friday 14th December at Pavilion’s Shopping Centre, Uxbridge, from 10.00am-8.00pm.

"If you are able to help with any of the dates above, please get in touch with the Fundraising Office on 020 3826 2362/67.

"These collections really do help raise extra pennies for our fundraising in the run-up to the festive season.

"Thank you in advance for your help."

Curry's PC World is located at Unit 4 Century Retail Park, Lower High Street, Watford, on a number of dates in December.
