SPOOKY Southall Sports Centre hosted a week-long gathering for ghosts and ghouls of the miniature variety this October half-term.

Southall Sports Centre, operated by Everyone Active in partnership with Ealing Council, invited children from the community to spend their break engaging in a variety of creative and physical activities from October 24-28.

From football, badminton and dance to board games and arts and crafts, there was plenty on offer to provide a week of entertainment in the build up to the grand finale.

On the Fancy Dress Friday, the youngsters were given the opportunity to dress up which saw the arrival of ghosts, vampires, werewolves and the Hulk, to a Hallowe’en themed sports hall complete with a bouncy castle.

Guests of the Hallowe’en party also donated £1 to JDRF, one of Everyone Active’s partner charities this year, who fund research to cure, treat and prevent Type 1 diabetes.

“The Halloween Half-Term Holiday Camp was a huge success, and it was great to see so many local children enjoying getting active, as well as raising funds for a great cause,” said Everyone Active general manager, Ameesha Patel.
