EERY Ealing Broadway is hosting a spooky but safe Hallowe'en adventure this weekend.

Ealing Broadway shopping centre is opening its doors for the family-filled Hallowe'en event on Saturday, October 29 from 1pm – 7pm.

For the fourth year running, children and parents from west London will be encouraged to wear their spookiest costumes to the centre to take part in a family-friendly trick or treat event.

Children accompanied by their guardians will be given a mysterious treasure map packed with clues to find Hallowe’en treats hidden in 20 participating stores.

Treats will be unlocked when trick or treaters shout out the correct spooky words.

In addition to safe trick or treating, face-painting, spell-book reading and a whole host of other freaky thrills will be available to families throughout the evening.

The centre’s Trick or Tweet competition will also award entries for the best costume.

Andrew Rollings, centre director, for Ealing Broadway, said: “Hallowe’en is one of the most exciting nights of the year for children and it’s always fantastic to see the local community come together and really go to town with their fancy dress costumes.

“We are expecting even bigger and better thing this year.

“We know that enjoying Hallowe'en in a safe environment is really important to parents and carers.

“That’s why we will make sure there are family friendly spooks and thrills on offer at Ealing Broadway this Hallowe'en.”
