STAR of Jonathan Creek Alan Davies was revealed as the headline act for an Ealing Comedy Festival packed full of big names yesterday.
The comedian will share the stage with legend Barry Cryer and Paul Sinha on Thursday July 14 in Walpole Park.
Performers Stephen K. Amos, Andy Parsons, of Mock The Week, his colleague Seann Walsh and Shappi Korsandi will all perform throughout the week.
The council’s cabinet member for transport, environment and leisure, Councillor Bassam Mahfouz said: “The comedy festival is a truly rare opportunity for people to enjoy a great selection of comedians in a beautiful setting.
“There is always a fantastic atmosphere in the big top tent and it is definitely an experience you never forget.
“I would encourage anyone that hasn’t been before to go online and book their tickets.”
The festival run by Ealing Council is held in Walpole Park from July 14-15 and July 20-22 with doors opening at 6.30pm and shows starting at 7.45pm.
Tickets are on sale now via www.ealingsummerfestivals.com at £20 per night (excluding booking fees).
