COLOURFUL crafts, tasty treats and delicious drinks will all be on offer when the Ealing Midsummer Fayre returns next week.

The three-day festival of fun will take over Ealing Green with 30 stalls and traders from June 24-26.

The summer celebration will feature a live music stage and a beer festival as well as handmade craft, jewellery and gift stalls.

Fayre-goers will be able to enjoy food from around the world including Bird in the Eye German sausages, Simply Eve Caribbean cuisine and Guptas Indian curry and street food.

Foodies can also relish Global Fusion vegan food, cupcakes from Holly’s Bakehouse and Eggardon Ryeland's continental cheeses.

Visitors will be treated to entertainment from comedy-duo The King Elvises and a traditional funfair.

Regional, national and international ales, bitters, lagers and ciders will be available for adults and fresh fruit juice, fruit-based milkshakes, slushies and sugar cane juice for all.

There really is something for everyone, with arts and crafts stalls including a diverse range of hats from Famous Last Stand, Le Bon Cadeau handmade soaps and FunkyNChunky African-print handbags.

Paul Kennedy, director of Market Square Group, said: “This is the fourth time Market Square Group has organised the community event, which we revived in 2013 after an absence of 100 years.

“The event is going from strength to strength and we have a really excellent array of traders and entertainment booked for this year.

“Help us celebrate the official start to summer in Ealing.”

The Ealing Midsummer Fayre is open from 11am-6pm on the Friday, 9am-6pm on the Saturday and 10am-6pm on the Sunday.
