EALING’S town-twinning group, the Friends of Marcq-en-Baroeul, has appointed Sarah Kahan as president.
She is well-known to the Friends and their French counterparts, Les Amis d’Ealing.
Sarah previously held the post for some years and has been heavily involved in work for the twin organizations.
The Friends were started in 1987 to encourage links between Ealing and Marcq, a town adjacent to Lille in Northern France. The active group organises a variety of events.
