THE Osterley Park 10K has been a runaway success for organisers of the award-winning Ealing Half Marathon.
It’s due to take place next Saturday, June 20, in the grounds of the National Trust park which is one of the largest open spaces in West London.
Entries sold out on June 9, with all 650 places snapped up by runners of all levels.
The flat route takes in lots of beautiful scenery and includes a loop of the private gardens.
The race is also the official recommended race for Alice’s Youth Memorial Fund, remembering murdered Hanwell schoolgirl Alice Gross.
The 10K is also a great training race for the Ealing Half Marathon with just 99 days to go until race day.
The race starts at 10.30 am and further race details can be found on http://osterleypark10k.co.uk/
Sandra Courtney, Osterley Park 10K race director, said: “We are very happy it has become so popular with runners from all over London and beyond. Entries are sold out but you can of course come to the park and cheer on the runners.
The fourth Ealing Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, September 27.
A total of 7,000 places are available, with entry costs of £34 for affiliated runners and £36 for unaffiliated runners.
