EALING’S award-winning amateur theatre company, the Beaufort Players, present Cold Front, an original comedy by Alan Robinson on March 26, 27 and 28.

When Mike whisks Karen away to a remote cottage in the Scottish Highlands, he thinks he’s planned the perfect birthday surprise.

But things soon go sour when the cottage turns out to be nothing more than a rusty tin shack and the so-called friends Mike has invited are people Karen can’t stand.

To make matters worse, Mike’s best friend, James, arrives with a surprise of his own, his new and very attractive girlfriend, Christina.

As tensions rise and temperatures plummet, the party find themselves entombed in a blizzard, leading to frosty exchanges and those of a more amorous nature.

Performances take place at 8pm at the Church of Ascension hall, Beaufort Road, Ealing, with an additional Saturday matinee at 2.30.

Tickets cost £10 (£8 concessions) and can be bought online at www.beaufortplayers.org.uk/boxoffice or by calling 020 8567 0275.
