FOUR guns were seized by police on Tuesday in three separate operations, including one in Acton.
They executed a search warrant at an address in Horn Lane at around 1.40pm and took away two semi-automatic handguns, both containing loaded magazines.
One man, aged 29, was arrested close to the scene and remains in custody.
A search was subsequently conducted at a separate location in Multi Way, Acton, where approximately £10,000 was seized, along with a number of high-value watches, with a value of around £60,000.
Other operations were carried out in South East London and in Hayes.
Det Chief Supt Gordon Allison said: "These arrests and seizures are an example of officers from Met Police specialist units acting on fast-time intelligence, and they highlight the bravery of police officers in confronting armed criminals who pose a high risk to the local community.
“We are committed to protecting communities from gun violence and bringing those involved to justice."
