LUXURY holidays in the snow and time with family top the Christmas wishes list for people in Ealing if they had the Lotto jackpot ticket that is due to expire on Christmas Day.

With only days remaining for the owner of the ticket, bought in the borough for the draw on June 28, to come forward and claim their Christmas windfall, the National Lottery is urging everyone to have one last seasonal search.

The £1,045,504 Lotto jackpot prize must be claimed no later than Christmas Day.

To jog your memory, the ticket was bought the same day as the Greenford Carnival and matches the winning numbers 8, 12, 28, 30, 43, 49.

Hitting the streets of Ealing and visiting a Lottery funded project, Construction Youth Trust, the National Lottery team asked people what they would do if they were to become an instant millionaire on Christmas Day.

Holidays and family celebrations topped the bill and each had a suggestion about the missing ticket’s possible location.

Charlie Puddle, 20, market trader: “I’d take the whole family on holiday to Alaska. I always work through Christmas and it’s hard work, so a million in the bank and an awesome holiday would make an amazing change! If anyone in Ealing is deserving of that win it’s my Nan. She is 78 and has worked her fruit and veg stall in West Ealing since the age of 15.”

Where is the missing ticket? In the side pocket of a car door

Ryan, 17, student at Construction Youth Trust: “If I discovered I was a Christmas millionaire I would sit my family down, tell them the news and celebrate! I’d divide up the money, giving it to my family so we all had a share. I wouldn’t change my Christmas plans but, hopefully, I’d change my family’s lives.”

Where is the missing ticket? I reckon the missing ticket is probably in the wash…but hopefully not!

Hayri Bozkurt, 58, plumber: “I’d be a secret Christmas millionaire. I’d tell my family but otherwise keep it quiet, but I would buy some really special treats for my nine-year-old twin boys.

Where is the missing ticket? I think the ticket is in an old purse or wallet.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

In Ealing alone, 1,022 individual National Lottery grants have been awarded.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
