A NEW covered cycle hub has been opened at North Acton station for commuters to use.
It includes secure bike racks, new lighting and CCTV for added security. The shelters will also include secure parking for 50 bikes.
It’s another step in Ealing Council’s programme to make the borough more cyclist friendly and reduce the number of journeys made by car.
Ealing secured £150,000 from Transport for London towards building the hub.
David Rowe, head of borough projects at TfL said: “We know that more than half of the potentially cyclable trips in the capital are in outer London.”
